Foundation funds are invested and are separate from the general operating funds By law, 5% of the of the foundation’s current $4.5 million principal is paid to the school from the interest earned through investing. Any remaining funds realized through the earned interest are rolled back into the principal. By leveraging the combined financial contributions to the foundation for more than 20 years, the original gifts made to the St. Francis Xavier School Foundation established an annual income stream of significant impact for our school. |
