St. Francis Xavier School Foundation

Today, the rising cost of providing an excellent Catholic education challenges more and more families who are at, or fast approaching, their tuition threshold.

Therefore, to increase our ability to enrich our community through traditional and affordable Catholic education, our solution is to grow and expand the existing foundation by $3 million – creating a new legacy.   The additional subsidy provided through the “Our Faith, Our Future… Share Your Gift” Campaign will be utilized in the following ways:

† Competitive Teachers’ Salaries

† Maintain Affordable Tuition

By further subsidizing the operating budget with new funds generated through the “Our Faith, Our Future… Share Your Gift” Campaign, St. Francis Xavier School will be able to slow tuition hikes and ensure the continuation of our legacy of exceptional Catholic education.

Just as the original founders of the foundation were able to create a legacy for our current students, your commitment to “Our Faith, Our Future… Share Your Gift” will make a difference for future generations at St. Francis Xavier School.  Just imagine…

• If the $3 million added to the foundation from this campaign were designated for tuition assistance only, each of the students currently qualifying for assistance could receive an additional $800 in funding after 100% of the pledged funds are realized.

• If the funds added to the foundation were directed toward teachers’ salaries, each one could receive an additional $4,800 per year after 100% of the pledged funds are realized.

• If the funds added to the foundation were applied specifically to the operating budget to keep tuition in check, it would help meet the rising costs of education each St. Francis Xavier School student.

 While the impact of growing our foundation by $3 million can bee seen through these examples, our intention is to fund our three case items within the foundation equally – tuition assistance, teachers’ salaries, and operating budget.  This way, instead of benefiting only one aspect of school life, our new legacy benefits all.
